My gerbil was on top of a fan when he fell. the fan was about four feet high. he was bleeding but we didn't find a cut. My sister and i cleaned off the blood and set him in a place where it's warm. Is there anything we can do for him? Please don't say we might have to put him down, It would break my little sister's heart.

Where was he bleeding? Put him in a quite place and make sure he is not going into shock. If he starts shaking put him in a towel and hold him until he stops. That should help and i think u should probably take him to a vet just to make sure he is not really hurt.

He may be bleeding internally from the fall. Then the blood would come out his mouth or his nose. Hope the little guy comes round. Good Luck.

Sorry, but you need a vet that deals with these small animals. There may be internal bleeding or head injury. If this just happened, he may just be in shock. . but if it was yesterday, I would say you need a vet.

If it was bleeding but you couldn't find a cut, it must be bleeding internally.

Looks like it's curtains for the poor little thing.
