I love anime but I'm not obsessed with it, so if my cable were to ran out and i couldn't see my dear Inuyasha I think I will live...! I'll get mad, I'll tell you that but than I'll get over it!!! ^.^

I think you'd be surprised at how many anime fans are in the U.S. I mean, just about every major city has a con or two every year, and we're buying all aspects of it (dvds, manga, doujinishis, key chains, t-shirts, etc, etc) like there's no tomorrow. Personally, I think it's great. I love the stories, characters, and how a lot of them make you think about things in a new or different way.
Um, by the way, you say you're obsessed to an unhealthy level huh? Maybe you should pace yourself. Technically, you'd be called an otaku, which may or may not be a good thing based on your level of obsession.

I love anime I live in California my sister and I really love it alot we have the wedding peach saeson 1&2 box set yu yu hakusho movie and the first 3 inuyasha movies. pluse we watch anime on ondemand.

A lot of people in the US are hooked on anime. My son is 33 and loves it. You are not alone.

I LOVE ANIME!!!!!! I AM OBSESSED WITH FRUITS BASKET!!! I have 2 Yuki plushies, draw fan art, write fan fics and like read the manga like 5 times! i am up to vol. 19! yay! i like the anime too but it isn't as good..... I really like Tsubasa and Full Metal Panic!!!!
