i wanted to get back in contact with a guy i went to school with a long time ago so i called his mom and left my info with her and she said she would give him the msg.its been a few days now and he still hasnt called back im starting to think he wont.for so long i was contemplating doing this and everyone i know and spoke to about it kept saying its a great idea and he will call me back and i should definately go for it.i even kept getting signs telling me it was a good idea and now im reallt regretting making the call at all.whats your opinion on this?

all you can do is try. if he is the one. give him time to respond. he might work a lot and gets home late. I did that 14 years ago and now have been married to him for 13years....time will tell. don't worry, don't recall..just give it time.

What were u expecting? People grow and change as they get older. When u decide to re-connect with an old friend, don't put too much expectation into it, no matter what people say. Maybe they just saw how hopeful u were. I'm glad u called him, but I wish u weren't expecting a reply. He might not even remember u, or he might be married or something, and he knows that would cause a rift in his union. U never know y a person doesn't call u back after a long absence. Just take it in stride, and move on.

ummmm, if he calls then he calls. You have no idea what his life is like now. he could have a girlfriend(s), might be gay, or workign 12 hour days.
Don't harp on it, if its meant to be..........

Is he still in school, or is he an adult? If he's an adult and is still living with his mommy, then forget about him.
