he keeps crying for a cessation of fire between hezbollah and the israellis, but like john bolton said, you cant have a cease fire between a terrorist organization and an established democratic entity. he keeps calling for the implementation of resolution 1559, but that should have been done years ago. is he just ignoring common sense, and trying to make an idiot out of himself?

Kofi Annan is an idiot.....

Besides not doing anything to enforce 1559, he's also dragged his feet in stopping the genocide in Darfur, Islamofacist advances in Somalia, and in getting any real solution to North Korea's and Iran's WMD programs. He proves how really useless the UN is - all they do is talk and issue pointless "harshly worded" resolutions, rather then offer any real solutions....

Kofi Annan is not an idiot that is the problem. He is working a plan to bring the entire world under a single government under the his (UN) control. The only solution to the problems that the UN are bringing upon us is to completely pull out of the UN. Heartless, Deceiving, and ambitious? Yes. Idiot? No.

Your first hunch was right: he is an idiot. The U.N. has an anti-Israel bias. Whenever U.N.I.F.I.L. U.N. troops stood between IOsraelis & Arabs they have ALLWQAYS strepped asside when the Jihadlings were on their way to attack Israel. They even refused to give acopy of a videotape they took of the Holy Warriers crossing the border that killed several soldiers and resulted in the kidnapping of one or two Israeli soldiers.
Look, there are more Arab countries and Arabs in the U.N. and he kowtows to them. He's too dull to understand that it eventually undermines the moral authority of his organisation, makes it increasingly irrelevant, & brings it into disrepute.
