Just remember that when picking clothes the more skin showing, the shorter the skirt, and the tighter things are the more slutty you'll look...

As for make-up, less is more...go to a make up counter and tell them you want a natural look...if you can't afford their products, try to remember what they use and buy similar shades from the drug store.

Oh, and Always wear a bra.

What are you aiming for actually? Some women attempt to put on an air of beauty that doesn't fit them. You'll look in the mirror and say "I want to look like..." then they get out the makup and put on the clothes and voila, they've become someone they're not.

Tone down the use of makeup, most women look more beautiful without all the heavy eye and face makeup. Natural beauty does not say "slutty", it speaks to a quality person.

Wear clothes that fit and that focus attention to your face and hair as apposed to your breasts and butt. A little fuller top of take attention from your breast, a little longer skirt or higher rising pants to take away from your butt...the change doesn't have to be a potato sack, but just a minor change.

The most important thing is to not act like a "slutty" girl, rather have some dignity about you.

Good Luck

First you have to decide, are you asking this question because you think you look this way, or because someone else told you that you look this way? If you see yourself a "slutty" then there is a problem. When you look in the mirror, what is is about yourself that you see as "slutty"? If its the way you dress then go out and get more modest clothing. Being "slutty" is more then just how you dress though... its how you act too. Now, I don't know you so I cant say that you act this way, but if you do and your really seriouse about changing it then get into a close friendship with a girl you don't see as "slutty" and follow her examples. Pick a rollmodel, someone you look up to. Pray. God is your friend... with Him as your guide your steps will not faulter. Good luck and God Bless.

I don't know if you actually look "slutty", or if someone just told you that because that person is a jerk. Basically, just wear what you want within reason, but don't show more skin then what is the norm in your community, considering the weather and the situation. If you're a teenager, don't just look to your own age group for guidance. Older people consider teenage styles like exposed navels and visible bras to be provocative, especially if you don't look like a skinny twelve year old anymore. You can still wear something tight or skimpy for fashion, just match it with something more modest- for example, a mini skirt (not TOO mini) with a modest top. Flat shoes will help make your outfits look more innocent than skanky. If you do wear heels, just don't buy them where the hookers do. Don't go too heavy on the make up.

Find a friend that you think dresses well and that you can speak to about this and ask for her advise. I would give you advise except I don't have anything to go on. I have no idea what you wear that looks slutty, what your taste runs to, what your age is,add more details, you will get more help that way. If you are in your late 30-40 and trying to look 20 then I can give you some advise about that, grow up and by some age appropriate clothes. You can still look good if you're older with out dressing like a kid.

Well one way that you could look less slutty and still look sexy at the same time is to.... not let all of your skin show at the same time. For instance if you like to wear short skirts and butty shorts, you should probably want to wear short sleeve shirt or maybe a racer back shirt that has enough material over your cleavage. Or if you like to have your cleavage show (like V-neck shirts etc...) then you should make sure that you have complete coverage from the waist on down. But the main thing that you need to remember is that if you continue to look slutty think of the things that could happen to you if you continue dressing like this..?????

Do you FEEL slutty? It is not a matter of clothing as two people can wear the exact same outfit and only one comes across as cheap. Work on your self esteem if this bothers you, otherwise wear what you please and enjoy it!

I would only advice against "slutty" clothing and apparel if it jeopardizes your safety, like if you are not in a safe place. Women and girls may get into trouble if they project a "slutty" appearance, unfortunately.

I thought about telling you to wear more clothes, but I thought I would be nice. Wear longer skirts, maybe to your knee. I love the look of a pencil skirt. Pair that with a cute 3/4 or 5/8 length button down shirt, depending on your age a cute pair of sandals or low heals. Then wear neutral make up. Soft curls in your hair would be cute.

Some woman just have that "rode hard put away wet look." Usually if you are wearing low cut clothes, or short skirts and shorts, and a lot of make up, you may look sluty, try to soften you appearance a little with more clothing that flows and less makeup.

Loser clothing, wear a bar, look how women dressed in days of old it was not just for looks but protection from being raped.

That is FYI people had forgotten about that and that is why women were shocked when other women started in essence letting it all hang out as it were.
