my sister asked me and a friend of mine if her butt looked big in the shorts that she was wearing(and it did) so her freaked out and punched us when we said yes.the question is why would she get mad at us for telling the truth should have we lied to her and let her leave the house wearing those shorts that makes her butt look big

Most likely she already knows that butt looked big, maybe she just wanted some reassurance from you in the form of a lie. I can't say that I have ever had a guy be honest about such questions, but hey there is nothing you can do, either its big or its not. Its not your fault either way.

yes you should of lied but i understand your honesty of looking out for your sister. girls never want to hear that their butts look big though. i have no idea why some girls ask those types of question when they know deep down inside of what the answer is. i guess their in denial and want some reassurance that they aren't over weight or have flaws.

Thats weird, i like having a big Butt. tell her don't ask you anything next time, she already knew her butt looked big when she put the shorts on, she was looking for attention.

You did the right thing.....but it sounds too cruel though....I think you should say like " a little bit ,I think you'll look prettier in the dark shorts (b/c dark shorts can make her butt look smaller) "
So if you wanna say something bad about woman don't tell her the exactly what it is but add some good word in your sentence too............ You can do it!!!!

no you did the right thing. I remember growing up I too would ask my brothers things like that. of course they would not let me out of the house if I was wearing daisy dukes. lol. but anyways I think she was being silly and didnt want to hear the truth. again though you should tell her the truth. never lie to her about it.

She shouldn't have gotten mad.
She's upset because she know what you said is true. She was hoping someone would lie to her to make her feel better about herself.
Good job for keeping it real, maybe she'll find a way to feel better about herself.
Tell her some men like big butts, maybe it'll make her feel better.... or **** her of more. It's up to you.

People shouldn't ask that question unless they want an honest answer. When I ask my husband that I want him to tell me.. I don't want to go out of the house looking like I could land a 747 on my back end.

When I ask this question I already think that my butt looks big, but want another opinion. Your best bet would be to just lie,unless the girl asking is your wife or girlfriend.You see it is ok for US to think our butt looks big, but it is not ok for you to tell us that. Its just another sneaky ploy to get men into trouble. lol

Not that you could have known but the answer should have been no and then you should have told her that you didn't like something else about them. That way she would put them back and not feel bad. Though she houldn't ask questions like that at all if she isn't ready for the answer.
