Here is the question for native English speakers: which phrase is more common, "aloe juice" or "aloe vera juice" ?

The drink is not exceptionally popular nor common in most places (except juice bars), so it would be referred to as "aloe vera juice" so people would know exactly what you were speaking about.

As far as I know, there is no difference between aloe and aloe vera, the one is just a sort of shorthand for the other. Your local health food store, where you can purchase the juice should be able to tell you if there's a significant difference between the two.
