i'm like each people's solutions as you are able to do an finished rebuild on an electric powered water heater for lower than some money. i'd even replace the heater element so that is all new. factors are a touch difficult to regulate reason they could get stuck attempting to tug them out, even if that is not undesirable to do with some pliers or bolt cutters. electric powered water heaters can very last a authentic lengthy time period even in extreme calcium waters, they in basic terms get heavier and they commence leaking on the bottom. that is as a lot as you on the way you favor to unravel the project, new or rebuild. yet in case you favor to position in new, that is not difficult once you've some history and recognize the protection rules. sturdy success and write me in case you favor more suitable information.

I would think the tank is the problem. That is where the water sits the longest. I cannot imagine the water sits in any other part long enough to pick up any odor.

You might drain your tank a few times to see if that cleans out what is causing the odor.

what is happing is the well water smells to start with... this gets worst when it is heated up....what u need to do is install a water softner to correct this problem. the softner will eliminate the smell before going into your home.. thus no smell in hot water
