After soaking them or getting out of the bath, rub them to take off the dead skin. You can use a pumice stone or even a file. Then apply lotion and if you are going to bed or just staying around the house, put socks on to keep the lotion close to the skin.
If your heels are cracking that can be a sign of hypothyroidism.

at night before you go to bed rub a moisturizing lotion on them - the put socks on immediately. Wear them all night - after a few days you will notice that your feet are smoother.
Try to avoid walking barefoot - always have some kind of sandal or slipper on your feet.
also - soak your feet in an epsom salt bath - this will also help with aches. then use a pumice stone and brush on them - be careful (you may want to use lotion when doing this) - apply a foot balm that has a cooling action.
your feet will thank you for this!

pumice stone, foot razor(becareful though), do it just like they would if you are getting a pedicure. Soak both of your feet for a good 10 minutes in hot soapy water. Take one foot out and use the pumice stone, then use the razor if you need it. Then do it with the other foot. Then take them both out and massage with lotion. Do this once a week and see what happens.
