my little brother got me in to it he gave me all of cards to me so i am stuck with all of his cards.

yea, same here, the only people i know that play yugioh is me and my brother, which we hardly ever play anymore, i still have my deck but its been a long time since i've used it

Don't worry. It's a good game and there are a million people out there playing Yu-gi-oh and they are way past your age. It's a good game and I like it (I'm 16), but I'm just not interested in playing anymore. The same will probably happen to you. And when you do, don't worry. Just find some pawn shop and sell your cards.

I suggest you find some guys who don't mind that you're a girl and learn all you can from them. Cuz most guys will underestimate you because you're a girl. Yu-Gi-Oh is alot of fun and beating smug azz punks is even more fun. If you're in the 8th grade then its likely that there'll be some people playing in the morning and at lunch time. Just go up to them and ask if you can join them. Don't be shy if you don't play well. If they say you suck ask them to help you so you won't suck. I understand what its like to be the only girl who likes Yu-Gi-Oh at school and its really not that bad. :o) Alot of guys will want to play you just because you're a girl.

So what, it's a GREAT game. I'm 43 (!), have 2 University degrees and yet I play yu-gi-oh. My son (14) and I travel to big tournaments.

My son is going into 9th grade and feels the same way.
