for prepartying... hit the carnival court at harrah's or the club rio (rio hotel and casino). both of these places have flair bartenders which are just amazing to watch., the bar at times square where there are dueling pianos
after 10pm... pure at caesar's. has a great nightclub and another room where you can watch the pussycat doll's burlesque show., tao at the venetian. drinks are a bit expensive here though., ghostbar on top of the palms casino. the lines start forming about 9:30 here., tabu at the mgm., tangerine at treasure island.

and last but not least...
drais in barbary coast is the hottest after hours spot to party. it does not open until either 2 or 4 am.

to get in... go to the clubs during the day. usually there is a promoter sitting outside and you can get on the vip list. now, just because you are on the list does not mean that you don't have to wait in line. you still have to get there between 9:30 and 10:30. vegas clubs are famous for only letting a few people in at a time. this is so tons of people are seen waiting in line, which in turn makes everyone want to get in. when you get there, there is a vip line, make sure you are one of the first there. you might have to wait like an hour, but you will be one of the first 100 people in the bar and it is definitely worth it, as some people on the list never get in. i really hope this helps

Favorite club is the Rio. A bit off the strip, but my favorite. Best thing to do during the day is to rent a car and hike Bryce Canyon and after that Zion Canyon. The next day, visit Red Rocks Canyon. See a concert. See a couple of shows.
