Shoot I would too if I won MISS UNIVERSE......Look at all that she's been offered and she's hello considered THE BOST BEAUTIFUL (ALMOST PERFECT) WOMAN IN THE WORLD.

She probably had not been eating properly, that can cause anyone to FAINT!
Also the stress of it all over came her.
Personally I think they need to DO AWAY with the contest because they only really show OUTER beauty, don't try to tell me NO...
Sure they have 'talent' and fashion which is all BS...fashion not talent..
BUT they never SHOW heavier girls !!!
ONLY skinny half starved girls...
WE heavier girls are BEAUTIFUL TOO!
ALL shapes and sizes and height!
So if she was not so stressed or hungry she might have not FAINTED!

maybe we should call in the CSIs, Ms Japan must have something to do with Ms Puerto Rico's fainting. Did you know that Ms Japan walked out as soon as the latina beauty was announced the winner?

She was just excited and fainted after standing under the lights in a dress made of mettle chains. You'd probably do the same.... or worse.

I would've fainted as well if I had won after all that tension, but I did wish Japan won...I really liked her personality a lot better than P.R.

i guess knowing where she is from, she was overwhelmed by the euphoria of winning such an international competition. the high competitive standards set in the competition could be really exhausting.

It was nothing more then to get attention for herself and the show and I am sure the pr people told her to do that works for the show that who it is

I agree, she was probably hungry. She is so tiny she probably hadn't consumed anything other than grapefruit for months to keep her looking that way.
