Peace starts with the individual. It comes from within. Knowing who you are, what your potential is and how to use that potential for good brings about inner peace. No, the world as a whole may never see or know peace, but you Billie Joe, can have peace daily. It takes some faith, some work, and a huge amount of work. I you are not at peace with who you are and what you are doing, evaluate your choices and your life and decide what it is that brings you the most peace. Is it your work, your wife or other things. You have the capacity to chose peace each day. You are in a position in life that can influence many. many people. If you live in peace and show peace in all your actions and deeds, peace will be a part of your life. Who knows, maybe if you live and love in peace, the rest of the world may follow. Make sure your life is as peaceful as it can be.

No way.
There is no cure to conflict.
Conflict occurs when someone does not agree with someone else. Difference of opinions.
Opinions are a god given right, and you are entitled to your own, but people don't now, or have ever respected that.
I think if everyone minded their own business, or at the least accepted that everyone has an opinion, and just because someone has one different from your own, doesn't make you right, only then will we have a shot at peace and love.

So long as anyone wants to initiate force against another for any reason there will not be peace. This includes forcing someone to give up their hard earned money (taxes), forcing someone to not put certain things in their bodies (drug laws), forcing someone to live by the ways of your religion, etc.

i think alot of people wish that we all could live in a peaceful world, but its in humal nature to have an urge to feel superior to the next person. that causes conflict, and dislike to one a nother.
so to answer your question, no. its sad because there are alot of stupid people in the world who try so much harder to be better, that they forget about anything else.

NO. It has been proven, time and time again, that mankind is at its best when we're killing each other.
Almost all medical advances, inventions in technology, and scientific discoveries were made during times of war.
Live in PEACE? Are you MAD? It's impossible.

It can, the question is will each person do his/her share to foster such a life for the world. Unfortunately there are many who have grown so zealot in their beliefs or way of life that they will never sit down with their neighbor and wish them well. ...but as long as the rest of us keep believing (thanks Kermit), we will always have a chance.

I don't think so, the best we (humankind) can do is love in peace within our own groups, sad really.

No--entirely too many differences--too many long standing blood feuds----far too many variations of dogma and theology---too many cultural variations and not nearly enough understanding--care---interest or give a damn in anyone to come half way on anything
