Good point, Lera, There are too many people concerned with what is politically correct. That leads to the question who has the right to decide just what is politically correct? In the case of your question I think that someone filed an abuse report so it was deleted. I doubt that very much thought was made about that decision. Just keep telling the truth. Some of it will filter though the mass of ignorance an prejudice.

You can say pretty much whatever you want to say, as long as you make it seem like a political opinion, and not racist.
That is, you can express strong prejudice against any group you like, as long as you make it seem like your prejudice is based in politics.
I'm not saying that this right to do, just that it is possible.
For example, there are some "professional" Israel bashers on Yahoo! Answers who are pretty good at doing this. One example that comes immediately to mind is the user called "Dd". Check out his questions and answers. He is careful to disguise his hatred as a political view, so you have no reason to report him.
I call these Israel bashers "professional", because they ask dozens if not hundreds of anti-Israel questions and answer related questions, always with the exact same words and links. Sometimes a few of these users repeat each others' words.
I would not be surprised if some organization is paying them.

Some people report things and some people don't. And it depends on how you denounced the Muslims - language that trashes an entire group for the actions of some in that group and that is, shall we say, intemperate, would provoke a report.
Then again, I once had a warning or removal or something over an answer about dieting, for cryin" out loud.

Denouncing the Muslims as a whole is wrong, for the fact is that most Muslims are decent people, thus terror organizations such as Alquida, Hamas, and Hezbollah-(Not sure of spellings)- are without a doubt insanely mind set on completing the genocide of the Jewish people, as well as any other people that aid Israel.

I wouldn't doubt it for a moment, since Yahoo did bow its head to the Chinese recently when *those* dictators wanted Yahoo to play snitch.
Remember, the Web's being *worldwide* isn't always a good thing, Yahoo has to suck up to CEOs and Dictators at least *as much* as it does to the Free People who are the *main* users of Yahoo Services.
Sad but true.

I can't sympathize with you. To use untempered, insulting, demeaning and inflammatory language against the entire Muslim community is worthy of being removed.
You are pretty distant from reality if you really think that Yahoo is being controlled by Syria and Iran.

It's all in phrasing. Plus, because Muslims can lay claim to having their religion insulted if you say something wrong, it gives them extra leeway to declare something offensive.
I'm not saying it's right. But there it is.
