What is the best way to resolve I.D. theft when it has ruined your credit?

I have been going through I.D. theft since 98 and have not been successful in resolving anything should i declare bankrupcy?

Hire a lawyer, have police reports, make sure you put a FREEZE on all three Credit Bureaus.
