To make the whole house smell much better, bake a loaf of homemade bread in the oven and allow the aroma to drift around.
Can't beat it.

If at all possible open your windows but put screens in or bugs and/or birds may fly in. Get a fan to put in window in front of the screen is fine; the fan Will help to circulate the fresh air around and then a few hours later or maybe a day or so VOILA your stench has vanished.

Natural Magic "Odor Absorbing Gel". The best is Orange scented.
I get it from Lowes and Home Depot. Comes in little plastic containers which you leave open.

There's not much that can be done to deodorize the room of a 50 year old guy living in his mom's basement. There's just too many weird things and body functions in there.

If you want a 'neutral' clean smell sprinkle baking soda on carpet and let settle for a few minutes then you will need to vacuum it up. Also try leaving a box sitting open in a place that isnt visible. WORKS GREAT!

I love oust air sanitizer, the spray as well as the fans, i have a house full of pets and it really cuts down on pet odors espically the litter box, the only down fall is you have to replace the fans about once a month but it is worth it. my aunt is the one who suggested it to me now my whole family is hooked

if you have pets use the arm & hammer stuff to sprinkle on couches and carpet theres one especially for pets. and febreeze and an open window. and make sure you clean your carpets and couches every so often because they will smell after a while
