a little bit connection, but definitely money does not grow on trees and banks earn money from the trees through clients.

The banks have branches because of the demand and supply of what is so called human resources or services. That branches are maybe agreed on partnership, merging, and/or expansion of company.

Money DOES grow on trees, but the banks own the trees. It is not possible for anyone else to have a money tree.
Which explains why you don't have branches.
