Do you like manga better or the anime (that may be based off that manga)? (Did I word that funny?) For example, do you like the Naruto manga or the Naruto anime better? It could be any anime/manga series: I just threw Naruto out of randomness.

I prefer anime since it's more visually appealing. Manga was fun years back when anime is scarce.
However, manga usually is more accurate and anime sometimes just take weird turns and end up have lots of disappointing moments.

Definitely anime. I think mangas don't let you get the full sense of what's going on, and it seems to me that the author doesn't really get his/her message across as well as the anime versions. Like Fruits Basket for example. I really adore the anime, but when I started reading the manga, I didn't experience nearly as many emotional "moments" as I did watching the anime. Not that the manga isn't good, it's great. I just prefer the anime.

It depends on the manga/anime. I love watching Full Metal Alchemist anime, but I don't think the manga is that entertaining to read. Hellsing is great in both forms.

for almost all, i like the manga better than the anime
but there are some exceptions... i would have never picked up the manga for full metal alchemist w/o the anime, or wild striker, and i'm sure there must have been a few others

i prefer anime b/c it can move around and has the voice actors. unlike manga you can know what the characters sound like. like i love to Ouran High School Host Club but the manga is like totally not my thing to read from that anime. so i prefer anime, but still love manga.

I like Anime better,but i sill like Manga becasue they have stuff that the anime doesnt have that part.
I like the Naruto...anime better.Except for the new Manga i like that one.^_^

I like them both eqully manga doesn't show as much as anime though but it also sometimes show'es some stuff that anime does'nt

I prefer anime myself...only because it is hard to find up to date manga in my hometown. I have a anime DVD collection at home. I do like Rourin Kenshin manga.
