You should call when you find out. Most doctor won't want to see you until around week 12, unless you start having problems. Before week 12, it's almost impossible to find a fetal heartrate without ultrasound, also they want to make sure the pregnancy is established and going along well. You may have an appointment with a nurse, or medical assistant before your appointment with the doctor. Some doctors like to give out information, figure out your due date, and give you samples of things before your first actual appointment.

They have a tendency to be busy so make an appointment ASAP also may I suggest the book "What to Expect when you Expecting" Congrats!

RIGHT AWAY, DON'T WAIT. You want to make sure if the test is correct, if it is, you NEED to get on prenatal vitamins-Like FOLIC ACID, which helps the brain develope. Don't hesitate, get your but down to the Dr.'s. CONGRADULATIONS CHICKA!!!
