I used to hunt all the time and really enjoyed it. It got me out into nature and I enjoyed the thrill of it. There was such an adrenaline rush you cannot imagine. I enjoyed eating the things that I had killed spending time with friends, it was a very social experience. Now I just do not derive any pleasure from it. I think it may have had something to do with being a young man and proving myself to everyone I was a man. I don't think hunting is wrong but I just don't enjoy it personally anymore. I don't enjoy doing the actual act of killing animals anymore. On occasion I still have to do it but I don't enjoy it. Its more of a distasteful chore now.

I think hunting should not be performed. It's the unnecessary act of killing animals just for fun. In my opinion, it should only be done if a person is starving or has no other means of acquiring food. After all, if you are gonna use the "overpopulated" excuse for hunting, look at the human population size and the effect it's having on Earth.

I like hunting and hunters though I do not hunt. I am an environmental science teacher and birdwatcher. Most people are surprised by my outlook, but the reason is simple. Hunters, those who follow seasons and bag limits, want to protect the environment as well, and are more aware of deforestation and pollution than most of the so-called pro-animal people that protest hunting. Pochers, those who hunt illegally are a different story, but the hunters I know hate those guys for giving them a bad name as well.

Pretty general.

OK, my opinion. Killing animals in the past was a means of survival. Even in some places today. I think that is the only time we should kill other than to protect ourselves. If you can buy food, you are a murderer to kill for the pleasure. I know, your asking whats the difference in that and killing stock for the super market. The difference is that these animals were raised for that purpose. They are not a part of wild nature and they are not being killed for the pleasure of killing.

my opinion on hunting is do it if you want if you dont like it dont do it, it is not like people dont have a controled hunt, they are only allowed to shoot so many animals per year, and it is regulated by fish and wildlife who do many studies every year about the animals and if it is okay to hunt them
