Benefit has a couple really good brands for pressed powder. Although, some claim that clinique is the only way to go. They are great for summer, but fail to stand up to the coldness of winter. I suggest using a mineral based make up. I know you said you wanted a pressed powder, but I cannot help but suggest bare minerals. I know... you're thinking the stuff from the info mercial, but it actually works. They are reasonably priced, and go on very light. I have used it for a couple years now, and have had a lot of success with it. They have a starter pack that includes 3 brushes, 2 cover ups, a sheer mineral vail (gives a soften look to the skin), warmth ( a bronzer to die for), and a couple cool instructional pieces. Overall, it is a pretty good deal. You can get a large pot of the powder for $22, and it will last a while. You can buy this off line, through the infomercial, or they have a store at most local malls. (like valley fair and Oakridge in the bay area)

Loose powder is the best, not a compact.
Clinique has a great loose powder and they also have a roll in powder brush that you can just carry in your purse for any touch ups. It's much more natural than pressed powder.

Try Revlon Colorstay. It really doesn't rub off and lasts all day. Doesn't dry out my skin either.
