Settle a bet between me and a friend! I saw the last episode but it's been a while. I don't recall her becoming a deity of any sort... more powerful maybe but not a god. Maybe I'm wrong (shame, shame, for such a big Buffy fan as I am!!) I have the last season on DVD but a friend of mine is borrowing it now and I can't watch it to see who's right.

No, she doesn't become a god. What happened was that usually when she dug deep into her powers they turned her semi-evil, her eyes would turn dark, her hair would darken...and then there was that whole veiny thing that happened at then end of season 6. But in the finale when she needed to use all of her power everything turned white, which just signigied that all her power came from a good place, when in the past, it hadcome from the dark side of her.

No she just uses her power to make all could be slayers, slayer. her hair only looks white because of the light shining, I think she became more powerful though. I am not sure I really just watched the show for James Marsters (Spike).

i'm like the biggest buffy fan there is too. she doesn't turn into a goddes or anything i think in season 7 she's with giles and he's teaching her how to control her magics... it's a REALLY GOOD ENDING.... hope you enjoy it... SPIKE RULES!!
