I have changed so many images and files for my website and never considered that when I deleted them from my local files that they would still be on the remote. I just downloaded my site from my remote server and was shocked at how many un-used images and files were on the server. How can I remove these UNUSED FILES from the remote server and regain some of my valued space?

This will depend on the type of service you are using. Ultimately, you want to delete them from the system. But how you actually do that depends on what the system looks like. How do you upload the files, what system do you use for that? It all depends on those details. If there is a delete button, that may be a good guess.:) But of course, you don't want to delete the wrong files or your entire account. But I suspect the system would warn you before doing that.
