Despite what your jokesters and non industry related people say out here, it is very possible to have a very successful career as a pro musician. Follow your heart and do what's best for you. Make sure you enjoy the music you play and the people you associate yourself with. Deal with the bad times, eliminate negative people from your environment and do not believe anyone who ever tells you that you can't make it. This applies for all music related vocations.
