I would like to visit the Greek states such as Sparta, Athens, Macedonia (ancient Greek Macedonia not the modern Slavic one!), etc.But I would also like to see Egypt to!

Otherwise, probably Greece coz it was warmer there, and the culture was more tollerant of certain individual privilages of citizenship.

I'd agree with the guy who said the 60's....that's "ancient civilization" to kids today....however, I was just a kid myself back then and would have loved to have been an adult and maybe got some of that "free love" they were passing around (now I have to pay for the cr@p...waaah).

Rome or Greece. I would love to see the Colosseum in all its glory or the Parthenon. All of the ancient architech would be cool to see when it was new. The oracle at Delphi.
