i am breastfeeding and have a 5 month old the test sat for a few days but Im freaked we even had safe sex. could it be positive?

I would test again in a couple of days, i find the best test to use is First Response. With my second son i tried two cheeper brands and got negative results, then used the first response kit and found out i was. This is also the one i used to find out i was pragnant with my first son. Yes it is very easy to get pragnant while breast feeding because your hormone are in a higher state, anyways if your still not sure go see a doctor and ask for a prag test. Good luck!

Any line..even a slight one means it's positive. There's a myth if your breastfeeding that you can't get pregnant..you can if you ovulate and have unprotected sex. Take another test and if it comes out positive, get to the doctor to confirm. Good luck.
Also, hormones from the first pregnancy would not still be affecting you five months later.

Take another test in a few days, make sure you test first thing when you wake up. The HGC levels are higher with the first urine of the day. This will tell you for sure if you are pregnant or not.

You asked this question earlier & everyone told you not to read the test after 10 min. (READ THE DIRECTIONS THAT ARE IN THE BOX). If you really think your pregnant, call the doctor & get blood work done, cause you obviously can't read a HPT instructions correctly.

It could just still be reading your hormones from first pregnancy
You should call your doctor though because even safe sex fails
My cousin was breast feeding her 2ed baby when she got preg with num 3

ifthe test read negative during the 10 minute time frame it was negative. buy and take another test.

you let it sit for a few days the readings are not accurate go with the first reading.
