If you understand it, it can be like a game. Think of it like a puzzle. Everything starts with attitude. You can have fun doing anything, with the right attitude. The way I see it, if you have to do things in life, find a way to have fun with it. You only live once, make the best of everything. I had a difficult time in college with algebra. I worked hard and practiced it, until I understood it and then I loved it.

I only found it easy & interesting, after I had to studied it (really to all its extends) for about three months. I believe that happen, like it happens with everything really, after I passed that first stage of bedazzled, the second stage of boredom, the third stage of frustration, until I reach the stage of "I knew the basics", and when something more complicated appear I looked at it as a puzzle or a code braking dilemma that I could try to solve and when I did it was really interesting.

I believe we can make this comparison with almost everything, I think this happens with everything.

Any new language, new computer game you buy, software program you learn, at first seems horribly complicated at times but as you progress and reach the stage where you feel more comfortable and secure you find it easy and interesting and can't wait to go to the "complicated part".

Bear in mind I hated Algebra for some years, maybe because it seemed to me like this code language really strange to me, only recently when reaching to this stage I came to realize when you know what they talking about sometimes its interesting to see the connections and relations of algebra.

Whilst not much fun in the early years, algebra can become increasingly interesting over time. In fact it is an essential too for engineering and science. If you are finding it too difficult try to persevere; speak to a friend who understands and enjoys it.

Algebra is sooooooooooooo easy! I'm best in the class at it. If you're good at algebra, you treat it like a game, like one of those puzzle games. That is what makes it fun, too.

Because it's so easy, it's my favourite branch of maths.

I've got a question, though. Why is this question under the Skin & Body section?

Algebra is fun and interesting, if you can do algebra, you can just about figure out any machincal problem that you face. My job depends on me knowing a deep background of algebra, if I couldn't figure out how to do algebra, I would have no job.

Algebra is fun and easy... especially word problems. Being able to figure out real world problems in everyday life is most satisfying. Stick with it and it gets easier.

Algebra can be used to solve most of the world's problems. Unfortunately, most of the world is useless at it.

I love Algebra, honest. I did it at school 25 years ago, and love it when my daughter asks me to help her with her homework.
Simultaneous equations - Oh YES!!!
