How do I earn $500 in like... a year?

I'm trying to earn enough money to by an ASUS 360 or a SONY 360. Which might come out to be about in the $500 range. I want to earn money for it by myself, but, I'm 2 1/2 years to young to get a part time job what else can I do to get cash fast?

Try this idea if you can't find a way to MAKE money. Maybe you can help your parents SAVE the money.

Tell them what you want and that you're willing to help. The burden will be all yours.
Try these things
1)turn lights off that you're not using.
2) walk places instead of asking for a ride.
3) give up shopping. Yeah, that means no new clothes,makeup,cd's yada yada yada
4)opt to eat at home more, even if it means you prepare the meals instead of mom.
5) be a better kid, do your chores without being told.

Basically, all the stuff your parents would LOVE to see you do.
Take away the reasons for them to say "NO", instead of rying to convince them to say "YES".

Some would say this is reverse psychology, I say it's learning to get what you want in an alternate way.
Money is aproblem for a lot of teens. They want,want,want. And have no way to pay. It's frustrating for the kids, AND the parents.

You can babysit or work for a family member at any age. You could also just try to do odd jobs for people you know. You can earn money pretty slowly and still have it amount to $500 if you have a whole year. You only have to make $10 per week. Cleaning gutters, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, anything like that can make you $10 or more easily.

Just be sure to really save it - if you earn $50 per month and spend $40 you won't get anywhere.

2- get a blogger account, and link it to the adSense account.

You can do that at any age.
Start your own candy and cookie company-thats easy to do with mom and dads help.
Contract out to neighbors for simple chores, walking the dog, grooming, waste management.
Use your strengths! You can do what you do best. And dress the part. Be polite in dealing with the public. I'm good at this stuff.

You can baby-sit. You can do yards for your neighbors, IE; mowing, weeding and edging. That kind of many adds up quick!
