homepage as you have seen says 1 in 4 brits went to cinema once a week! last year

I thought 2005 was a bit poor in terms of films but the last quarter made up for it completely. king kong and batman begins (was that last year?) also wallace and gromit (which i was a bit dissapointed with, the voice acting annoyed me).

so 3 for me

I ain't been for years and years. I just visit my local southeastasian dvd man and see the film before it comes out, for £3 in the comfort of my own home where I can smoke, drink and fart as much as I like.

I go about once a fortnight, depending on whether anything is out that is worth seeing. This year seems a bit better for cinema releases though so I have more films compared with last year.

The only notable things out last year was 'Batman Begins', 'Narnia' and 'King Kong'. Even the new Harry Potter film was a bit of a disappointment and I'm a huge HP fan.

I do not go once a week, since - sadly - there are not that many good films worth seeing. But on average I go about once a month to watch a film on the big screen, in addition to watching others at home on DVD. Most of those I see in the cinema are new or recent productions, but there is also a "Film Club" here that does great shows of classic and historical films of great value.

I think I went twice the whole year!
I prefer waiting to see it when it comes out on dvd... that way you can sit and enjoy it in peace and quiet and not have a bunch of ignorant idiots that go to the cinema to talk, ruin it for you.....

I know zackly watcha talking'bout.
I watched Crusader thing then didn't bother with anything else.

I think the Lord of the Rings thing and St. Mel's Passion were so big they dwarfed the rest of em, nothing has been that epic since.

However you could check out my question...

Ten minute film school

and ask yourself why you're not making one yourself!

I haven't been for years either....for the same reasons as Kango Man. I would rather spend my money and time getting pissed in the local.I get my DVDs cheap as well....and six months before they're advertised.....maybe I shouldn't be broadcasting that, mind you
