FIRST DON'T COVER THEM UP WITH MAKE UP . YOU'RE JUST MAKING THINGS WORSE BY CLOGGING THE PORES . THE BEST THING TO USE OVER THE COUNTER IS NEUTRGENA PRODUCTS . YOU CAN ALSO TRY , A MIXTURE OF CALAMINE LOTION AND BAKING SODA , MAKE IT INTO A PASTE AND APPLY TO YOUR FACE UNTIL IT DRIES ( I CHARGED $50.00 FOR THIS IN MY SALON ) RINSE AND YOU'LL SEE LESS AND LESS OF THIS WITH EACH USE . DON'T FORGET TO MOISTURIZE WITH A MOISTURIZER FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN .

Regardless of ANYTHING someone tells you, nothing works better than a plain old alcohol rub. You know, regular rubbing alcohol. I had TERRIBLE problems with acne when I was younger and nothing ever worked that was prescribed. I would suggest that you use a cotton ball or wipe with alcohol EVERY DAY, once a day and apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer AFTER the alcohol rub to prevent over-drying. I bet within 1 week all of those nasty pimples will be gone. I STILL do it and I haven't broken out in years!

I used proactiv & it didnt work for me. I had cystic acne. I then foung MD Forte Glycare Perfection Gel (approx. $20). I order it online at www.skinstore.com. It is amazing acne healed in 1-2 days. I apply a tiny amount all on the problem areas & it keeps my skin from future brakouts. The tube will last about 2-3 months. Proactiv is $50/month if I remember.

I've had a big problem with pimples/acne for YEARS & I just found something a lil while ago & tried it. Go to www.acne.org & seriously try this guy's regimen. Nothing has EVER seemed to work for me but this one actually is! I use the Purpose bar soap that's on his recommended list & the neutrogena moisturizer. He says to use neutrogena 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream but if your face can handle it, use Oxy 10% benzoyl peroxide. I believe it's oxy max or something like that...it's one I've been using. You can find all the items at your local Walgreens/Walmart/Target.

Put moisturizer on your face that is treats acne. Use as directed, but it usually says twice a day, once in the morning, once at night. I use different ones, and it keeps my face clean and zit-free. It also gives that soft feeling... not greasy at all.

put an acne remover on before going to sleep everyday. you could use soap or something too but what you need to do is watch your face daily to get rid of the dirt and oil.
