Grace Slick -
Following her much-earned sobriety Grace reunited with "Jefferson Airplane" for a 1989 album & tour. But aging and health issues caused Grace to retire from performing and focus her attentions on artistry and animal rights.
Now a white-haired matron in her 60s Grace lives a quiet life in Malibu. "I don't like old people on the rock-n-roll stage...Me included!" Grace told VH1 in a 1998 interview.

Bob Seger -
On September 12th, Capitol Records will release Face The Promise, Bob Seger's first studio album in 11 years. Face The Promise opens a masterful new chapter in a songbook that has captured the dreams, ideals, yearnings and truths of the American experience for a remarkable forty years. grace slick retired. she did an interview with mtv a few years back claiming that she did not see herself coming out of retiring to sing. she had nothing against others who had like blonde (debby hairy) or pat benatar but in her eyes, once you retired, that is it and let the new generation do their thing.
and for what i hear on bob seger he is still touring a few shows a year.
type in bob seger and you will get a few websites under his name

I saw an interview with Grace Slick a few months back. She said that she no longer tours "because nobody wants to go to a concert to see a 60 year old woman on stage".
