The National Geographic magazine has quite a lot of fans around the world, and there are plenty of collectors as well. So if I was in your shoes, I would offer the old issues on e-bay. I am sure there will be interest and you could make a few shillings in the process as well.

A lot a antique stores will market collections and there is always a interest in the magazine.

I donated all of mine to a local hospital for the waiting rooms. The Geographic never goes out of date.

I use old national geographics in my classroom as sources for kids ot do collages and what-not. Check with a local school to see if any teacher wants them, or place an ad (we have fee personal ads up to $100 value of items in a local mailer) and see if someone will buy them.

I think it's a great magazine but if he/she started collecting them for so long, I don't think you should get rid of them, they might be valuable in a few years

Take them to your local Doctor's and Dentist's and ask if they'd like them for people to read in the waiting room. Also take some to your local Charity Shops.

That's an important - and valuable - collection! Find an antique dealer, or go on e-bay to find out what all those great magazines might be worth! -RKO-

Thrift shop, doctor's office, hospital waiting room, dentist's office, school - great pictures and maps, etc. Just be creative, don't dump them, they're worth something to somebody.

NG is all on DVD now, so probably no one is going to want forty years worth of old ones. Try and recycle.
