I thought that part one was perfect, it was exactly what I thought a good movie should be like. It had romance, action, humor, and an excellent plot with great acting and directing.
Part two was also good but not as good as part one in my opinion. The romance wasn't really there, the action was almost overkill, the humor was good but a little awkward at times, and the plot was still great but a tad confusing and elaborate. Johnny Depp was as awesome as ever and I really liked Orlando Bloom in both parts, I was also really happy to see Barbosa again.

I preferred the first one too. This one seemed to have more childish humour designed to keep kiddies happy whereas the previous film was aimed more at teens and adults. I also found Jack and Elizabeth harder to like this time around since they both did some pretty deplorable things whereas last time Jack was a rogue with a heart of gold.
I think 'Superman Returns' is the best film at the moment.

Naw, pretty big dissapointment. The first one was AMAZING. They knew what they were doing. The second was just to make some money. They forgot what the movie was really about, what made it fun. Simplicity. The new one had about 20 plots going on at once, and none of them lead anywhere. Not cool...

Nope, I disagree. It was fun in a brainless sort of way, but it is in no way the best movie currently playing in theaters. The best thing I've seen recently overall is definitely "Wordplay." The best wide-release big studio film I've seen so far this summer is "The Devil Wears Prada."

It was quite a disappointment. If you have seen the trailers you have seen the best parts. I prefer Part 1. This is like such a silly slapstick

I quite liked it. The details were great and some themes were well thought of. I liked all the secret places.
