Bob Gibson - if you had to play a game 7 of the world series this the guy you would want to start. 1.89 World Series ERA with a 7-2 record and 8 complete games. Two time World Series MVP. Saw him pitch when I was a kid and he was the most intimidating pitcher ever.

I have to say Pete Rose. I grew up in the Cincinnati area and saw him play from 1972 and on. I never saw anyone play the game like he did. He was good at everything that he did. Its a shame he will not get elected to the Hall Of Fame. How can someone who played the game the way he did be so stupid and do something that cost him what every baseball player dreams of and that is to be elected to the Hall of Fame.

I have seen a lot of players play ball and as much as it hurts to say this...Barry Bonds. The guy is a great baseball player even if he did do steroids.
