it probably means she isn't eating the right things or she isn't clean. eating oranges makes it smell pretty good. if she sweats a lot down there (if she's over weight or athletic) she could shave it. or if that doesn't work, you can get some feminine deodorant spray from wal mart for a couple of bucks (summer's eve brand). that will definately work.

good luck to you and your friend.

I think the question here is how does she know it smells like chicken? Can she smell it without touching herself? or is she sniffing her own panties to tell? Either way it may not be her love canal itself but rather cross contamination of smell. For example, if she is feeling her self with her hand and then smelling her fingers, maybe her hands are not the cleanest beforehand. And besides when the acid from her hands mixes with the fluid from her hole, this could be causing the issue. As for another theory if she is smelling her undies to see what it smells like it could be any number of things causing this. For example if she smells her undies after she has been wearing them all day then it could mealy be sweet from around the area that is causing the smell. On the other side of the coin maybe it's the laundry powder she uses to wash her undies and maybe this is causing some kind of reaction with her skin?

All of these things are possibilities but in the end if it does not go away within a reasonable amount of time, for example a week or so, then she should definitely get to a doctor and get checked out, as it maybe an infection of some kind. Also something else that you should perhaps tell her is if she uses any kind of sex toys etc... always make sure that they are cleaned thoroughly after use as bacteria builds up on them rather quickly and this could be the culprit for the problem she is having.

The vagina when not cleaned properly can become a vent for whatever food that a female eats. She needs to douche, and keep better care of herself. It's not a bad thing tell her it is just that she has to clean alittle more properly.

Besides the smell she should pay attention to which type of discharge or secretions, she is having. If they are yellowish, white, etc... But primarily she must go to the ginecologyst.

Any odor is generally a sign of a problem...either minor or large. Probably, she should use a feminine deodorizer spray or a powder that can be safely inserted.

She needs to douche at least once a week but not daily since that might encourage unwanted bacteria growth.
