I'm a Conservative and I don't like it when people constantly pick on Bush......However, THAT WAS REALLY FUNNY!!!!! lol

Bush isn't "dead set" against "any type" of "genetic research." Last week he signed into legislation a bill that funds stem cell research, of course the stem cells are from alternate sources than embryos. But you probably only read the headline that said, "Bush Vetoes Stem Cell Research Bill."

I think he is against it because he may be afraid they will want him to be the first candidate. Not that they will find his man/chimp genes, but they will actually be able to conclude that he does in fact have a genetic connection to HITLER!!

No he is against it because of the methods they want to use to do research aka "stem cell" its a moral decision and a good decision at that
