I cant remember who said it, but someone came out with a phrase that is perfect for Big Brother:

"There is nothing worse in the world than organised ignorance"

Could have never put it better myself. I watched a few eps in the first series then realised how immensly boring it was. I would rather watch my own family, my daughter is far more interesting to observe. Besides, who is the bloke with the extremely annoying Geordie accent?

There are some carp in a pond outside my block of flats and they're a great deal more interesting than anyone in Big Brother, and more intelligent. The best thing about them is, they keep opening their mouths but, thank God, they never say anything. Whereas the primitive life forms on Big Brother ...

I'm surprised everybody didn't turn off after that obvious Kit-Kat Golden Ticket fix. Oh yeah - had to be Suzie didn't it? Failed model. Not some old granny which would have been interesting in the BB House. What I want to know is are there any sad people who actually watch BB Live, a waste of about 4 hours of programming just showing all these social disasters asleep! Meanwhile people like me have been waiting ages for something decent like South Park. In fact, I've been waiting so long that I'd be happy with repeats. Oh yeah, and Futurama. But when they sneak that in it's always on a Saturday morning before you've got your newspaper with the TV guide in it. GET RID OF THIS IDIOTIC FREAK SHOW NOW! Was Cezar really that stupid to think he could rape a girl (allegedly!) and get away with being on BB without being spotted?

it is total mind numbing rubbish designed for low intelligence people in the 80s we had some brilliant shows like the krypton factor, university challenge, the crystal maze and so on then it all started going down hill and turned into tripe that made you believe that stupidity was cool and look what it spawned a generation of chavs who all act dumb but most arent until they fill their heads with so many drugs thay really do become dumb and then seem even more fashionable.

It is the bredren of the haddock, the cousin of the much underated mackrel, yes, it is a giant damp scaley fish dropped into our televisual laps every year for our mindless and frustrated heads to watch, and drool, and despise.

I think it is B*stard B*llocks.
