it seems to happen after i gorge myself at the hotel buffet on a break i have between sets. i mostly have played my stratocaster guitar for years but now my new job requires i play the george benson jazz guitar with the heavier strings..
i`ve heard it is a build up of lactic acid should i cut pizza out of my diet?

Or it could be repetitive strain syndrome caused by using your hands so often in a repetitive manner.

Drink lots of water and get more potassium - potassium deficiency causes muscles cramps (but yours are overexertion). You just have to build up those muscles.

The water will help flush the lactic acid out of your body.

pizza is good in moderation. dont overdo it.
