I would find it hard to believe that anyone is genuinely surprised by it anymore.I think some stare because they are intimidated by it,and some stare just so u can see them staring 'cause they are bigots and want to make u feel uncomfy on purpose,and some are ignorantly amused by it and stare because they are just rude,some stare and smile at you like they think u want to be stared at and if they smile it supposed to let u know they are not staring 'cause they have a problem,they're just staring 'cause they notice u(like that's better)they're also ignorant.Best thing to do is ignore them.

If that is your opinion, how did you notice there were inter-racial couple in the first place? Why did they draw your attention? If you are truly indifferent to the color, you wouldn't even have noticed it.
People notice it because it is still rare and un-common.
Noticing something and/or being surprised is not the same thing as discrimination. People will react to things that aren't common. You need NOT to react/respond to every little thing others do. Some things are irrelavant and not worthy of reactions.
I am an Asian and my girlfriend of 12 years is a white American. Yes - we see puzzled look on people sometimes.

There are many different reasons, I am sure, as to why people get surprised when they see interracial couples. The only clear answer for me is that these people are unenlightened and see the exterior of all things and not the the love energy that is everything....

the answer to the question is that anybody is authorized as much as now anybody they choose. you won't be ready to ask why black men do not choose for black women as a results of fact they do and despite in the event that they did not their comments and perspectives of the white women they might like are none of your employer!!! Please have slightly greater experience next time!!!
