I watched a program on the history channel about how Liberal America and Hollywood embraced the ideology of Hitler and Germany, and even temporarily embraced the idea that Judaism was a threat to Germany's well being. It seems as though Liberal America is once again embracing the fascists as we are on the brink of war. You will hear them say that Isreal is non of our concern, and that they are being held to a different standard. But would they go back and say that Hitler was right? No they would believe differently now than they did before WWII. So why do they not see thier mistake in embracing the facsists and calling our troops the terrorists?

Do you think agree or disagree? I'm not accusing the Liberals of agreeing with terrorism or anything.

If you want to change a liberal idea to a conservative idea, wait a generation. What is liberal now will be conservative when todays children are grown. What is conservative today was liberal a generation ago. That's the way things are. As for Israel, our government and religious leaders are afraid to go against Israel since the Bible says that they are God's chosen people so right or wrong, the religious of our country will never, ever go against Israel whether they are actually right or wrong

No

Pre WWII Europe did not have a middle leisure class sipping Lattes at Starbucks

While the post depression society pushed God Bless America to a number one spot on the Radio famous Communists like Woody Guthrie was singing "This Land is Your Land"

The big difference is in the allusion of wealth. The credit card allows impoverished Americans to maintain a pretense of opulence. In the 1930's everyone knew they were destitute.

Today the number one liberal argument is health care reform. However the Far Right protofascists perceive that as being a desire to marry a queer and kill a baby.

No America is greatly different than pre war Europe. Also consider the effect of America's great depression it changed Europe with a ripple effect. After Europe lost it's export trade imbalance of goods to America Factories were closing jobs were lost. These things typically arouse the proletariat.

In America under the Bush administration the Economy is booming Jobs are the best ever Productivity is at a all time high. Wages are far above the cost of living index. Eight years of prosperity. moves the liberal concern away from communism to unimportant issues like child care. Food for the disenfranchised elderly.

I say what a waste. In a warrior class society the babies come from whores that follow the troops and the old die when they can't keep up.

I disagree

1)Brink of war- We already are at war(in Iraq)...however, a press release from the State Dept. assured the U.S. that we would not
be engaging in this conflict in any capacity other than diplomatic negotiations. Military action would most likely warrant a reinstatement of the draft, which would lead to a political nightmare for the Republicans looking to win reelection in Nov. So from a political standpoint military action in Israel and Lebanon would not be likely.

2)"Liberal America" - that's a pretty wide range of people, I consider myself part of it and I agree that Israel should have attacked Hezbollah, and that Lebanon should be held accountable for allowing a terrorist organization to reside within its country.

3)I haven't heard of any liberals embracing fascism... fascism is more of a conservative right wing extreme. Communism on the other hand is very much to the left of the political spectrum and I haven't heard of any Liberals embracing that recently (save Nancy Pelosi-shes a lunatic though.) If you were to classify the Hezbollah faction as either Communistic or Fascist, I'd agree that they are much more fascist than communistic. For example, they have an ultra-conservative view of the Islamic religion. They are a group whose ideals are based on Shiite Islam. However, there are two branches of Hezbollah, the Militia and the Civilian. The militia is very much fascist, but the civilian has more of a communistic approach, providing services to members of it's party like water supply and support for rebuilding. On the whole, I'd have to say that they are justly classified as a terrorist organization and mask their evil intentions with good deeds to those who support them.

4) No liberals, except Pelosi (see above) would ever say that Hitler was right, that's just a statement meant to incite anger. All it does is reflect poorly on you.

5) No liberals should call our troops terrorists, those who disrespect the men and women, who risk and sacrifice their lives so that we can sit at home here in the U.S. and post on websites like this, should be ashamed of themselves. Without their courage, and the courage of many generations of soldiers the U.S. would be a very different place than it is today. I think that what they do is the ultimate form of heroics.

"Liberal America" is the "about half" the people- but please note, these are mostly college educated mom's and dads with kids and strollers. perhaps the small amount or extremists on either the right of left- make many others look bad- the country is under the "control" of the conservative party, admin, house and senate-and everything happening is happening under these people's watch. although a lot of debt is building, while little else is being rebuilt. Call it what ever you want, run for president, change the world. "Name callers" often don't have much else to back up the debate, they just fear losing support.

you would possibly want to undergo in options that your reflect photo purely exhibits the front and somewhat to the perimeters. photos look particularly diverse because you're seeing extra of your face, pretty the left and proper profiles. this can properly be unusual for some human beings, and why a range of of us get somewhat freaked out even as watching ourselves on movie. do not hardship. The reflect photo is what all of us see even as dealing with you. it is the proper representation of your face. if you're happy with it, then you fairly haven't to any extent further something extra to imagine about. No-one is proper, nor might want to they be. Even the most eye-catching human beings contained in the international see faults in themselves. Michelle Pfiffer (actress who performed Cat lady in a Batman action picture, replaced into the instructor in risky Minds, among many different movie roles, risky Liaisons, and so on, at the moment performed the mum of the blonde woman in Hairspray,) thinks she feels like a duck! She would not, she's an extremely eye-catching lady. possibly you should have extra faith contained in the persons round you. in the experience that they say you look large, you should trust them. Do you've any reason no longer to believe them? Do you truly imagine they'd misinform you?

I think you are a little confused. Communism and Nazis are two different things. Many liberals IN Hollywood at the time leaned toward Communism, not Fasist Germany. There was a CONSERVITIVE movement at the time that sympathized with Germany but not in Hollywood.

It actully seems like conservatives don't have any valid points so use the old acusations of commie, socialist, facist to create terror towards liberalism. Now who's the terrorist?
