we are only human. It is easier for us to look at others and see their mistakes than to look in the mirror and see our own. Not to mention we humans pride ourselves in being right. We want to be the best and have the best and if we at least make others think we have it all then they can't see what is really going on in our lives. We live in a world where we want good things to come to others but only after we get blessings and if ours is better than theirs. We can't see our own faults for looking at others. and that is the biggest fault we have.

I think you have it backwards. Most people look for the good in others and try to accept everyone's behavior in the best light possible. It is **ourselves** that we're so quick to condemn.

because it takes the focus off of ourselves. this world in general does not want to take the blame. It hurts when we open ourselves up and look at whats inside.

Criticizing others is WAY easier because you don't have to live in that person's skin...
There are self-haters out there, it's a rarity to find a person that is 100% self condeming but it happens I suppose.
