Without any doubt, it is the ancient and rather less well-known sport of Fribbling. I say less well-known as it is now only played in the village of Dungle where I live. It was formally played throughout the county, but sadly its practitioners are rather aged like me, and no youngsters are taking it up because of the outlandish clothes one has to wear to partake in it.
The clothes are based on the jester’s outfit, although there is a school of thought that says that the jester’s outfit was taken from the fribbling. The bells on the hat are used to warn those blindfolded players in the team of the approach of the impending ball. The bag of feathers used to hit other players can cause problems when they burst covering the forward gundles in feathers. That part is definitely not popular with the youngsters who always like to look their best nowadays.
So I vote for Fribbling.

I would say that it has to be that well loved sport of competitive YA Q&A! All those dodgy hats, even dodgier flowers worn in the hair (are you all going to a wedding?) and Pob - don't get me started on that jumper! Even these metal knickers I put on only this morning, are sooooo yesterday daaarling!
Fencing also v.bad - man coming at you with v. sharp sword - wear bright white!
