People who act like that usually have low-self esteem. The only way they can feel good about themselves is to act like they are superior to everyone. You don't have to speak to them either. They are not important. I have met people like that and I made a point to learn their names and every day I would say, "Good Morning" and they stuck their noses up in the air and wouldn't say anything. I kept it up, and it took a while, but eventually they started responding. They really feel the need to respond if others are around, they don't want to look rude in front of other people. I think some people just have emotional problems and you really have to pull them out of their introverted selves. Then agian you have those who were raised differently than you. Raised to think they 'are' superior. They will always live in their delusional world of superiority, no matter what. Ignore them they are not worth troubling your own life for.

Everyone has, at some time or another. However, you are assuming that the reason the person was ignoring you was that they think they are better than you, which may be your own feelings of inferiority coming into play. We can't ever know for sure what another person is thinking about us unless we actually ask & receive an answer. If you were trying to speak to this person and they ignored you, try being a bit more assertive to get their attention--that is, if getting their attention is very important to you.

Yes. What I realize later is that I am too good for them. Some people don't have any proper training on how to treat people. They are the ones who miss out on all of the fabulous people like us.

Of course, everyone likes to feel they are better than someone. If someone is ignoring you don't sweat it ignore them back and you will get along fine. Why are you angry if someone feels they are better than you? It doesn't truly matter what other people think about you, only what you think about yourself.

Oh I meet people everyday who think they are better than me and probably some of them are..but what does "better" mean? Ask yourself that. We are all better than somebody else in one way or another. Doesn't matter.

Unfortuately, there are many people like that in this world. They are selfish and feels that the world owes them something. You see a lot of this when people are driving. I figure it's not my job to teach them life's lessons. They will get what's coming to them.

haha, only about a MILLION people like that! Go ahead, punch them, do the job I never was able to do for the fear of ruining my future and reputation, but unfortunately they still won't change.

Of course! They must think they are pretty impressive, but actually if they knew how they looked through other peoples eyes, they'd be very surprised.
Just feel sorry for them for being so closed minded and arrogant.

Yes, I meet them everyday. They are usually selfish and closed minded individuals who are missing out on the wonderful diversity around them.
