2% of 500 is 10, and 4% of 500 is 20. Explanation: 1% means 1 out of 100. there are 5 hundreds in 500, so 1% of 500 is 5 (1 times each hundred in five hundred), then 2% is 10 and 4% is 20.

4% of 500 is 20
{[4/100] * 500 = 20}
Now 2 and 20 makes it 22
[2 + 20=22]
Is this your answer?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but i'll try to answer as best as i can.
2% of 500 is 10.
4% of 500 is 20.
Multiply 500 by .02 to get the first answer.
Multiply 500 by .04 to get the second answer.
If you're asking what 2 + 4% of 500, then the answer is 22. In the future, don't substitute "and" for "+" It is confusing,and i still don't know what you're asking.

you dont know how to do this?
2% = .02
of = multiply
2% of 500 = .02 * 500
4% of 500 = .04 * 500
also, 2% = .02 = 1/50 (since 50 * 2% = 100%), so you can just do 500/50 = 10
now 4% has to be twice as much right? so its 20
