haha, I know 4 people who have become pregnant while on the pill. I believe one of them.
I think the other three just wanted babies, and either didn't take it correctly, or were not taking it at all. However, I only know that to be true on two out of the other three of them. I think a lot of people who say that, say it just to cover their own rear ends when it comes to telling their husbands/boyfriends/whomever. Once you tell that to your husband, you have to tell it to everyone.

You can take the pills as directed, but watch out if you take antibiotics or other meds, they can cause them not to work for the month. Also, you have to take them at the same EXACT time every day. The low dose (and some regular dose) are only effective if you weigh less than 150 lbs. If you weigh more, think about taking a higher dose. Finally, if your family has double ovulation (like fraternal twins or knowing that you ovulate twice a month), then the pill will only work the first time you ovulate. Use other forms of bc as back-up, otherwise you have a much larger chance of being a mommy.

I never have, but a good friend of mine just delivered her second son, and she became pregnant while on the pill. She said it was because of antibiotics her doctor prescribed for her for bronchitis. I guess the antibiotics (and certain other medications) cause the pill to become less effective.

My mom was the same way she got pregnant with me when my brother was13 months old. So It can happen, some people I think GOD just wants to bless with beautiful baby's. I hope my answer was able to help you out. Good Luck and God Bless! =^..^=

They neglect to tell you that the dosage of the pill nowadays has been reduced greatly and there is a higher risk of pregnancy. I was on Yasmine, and taking it correctly.................. I am now 18 weeks pregnant!
