Yes it is impossible. I believe that in this plain of existence, the nature of man is to destroy, mistrust, and victimize others. Not everyone here is like that. I direct your attention to Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr, and other men and women who devote their lives to easing suffering in this world. They are the polar opposite of the true destroyers...you know who they are. Most of us fall in between the dark and the light, some prove to be more good, some less good. Still, we are mostly trapped in this existence in lives of fear and pain. Unity will never happen here, it is not our destinies to achieve such as long as we each exist here. What we must do is STRIVE to achieve unity and peace. It is the struggle toward bettering life that frees us from fear and pain. Remember...it is not the destination but the journey that counts.

Too many agendas and when ever it seems to have peace a Napolean, Ceasar, Hitler or someone comes along and takes a chunk of the world.
Besides it is not in the intrest of those in power and have wealth for the world to be at peace anyway. They make money and keep economies flowing by war and tensions. Besides it keeps the common people distracted about how things really work.

When those in power understand they are only hurting themselves by grabbing on the greed, -when the "company" is bad- it eventually dies-(oil- for example) when the consumers are overjoyed, everyone prospers, and has great jobs. Everyone must help with this or be left behind.
Humans can do anything, especially together.
