I went to the endodontist for a root canal. After the root canal the tooth still hurt so I returned. When I returned there was a staged harrassment team in place. I was put cubicle and prepped to wait for the endontist and to over hear a converstation in the cubicle next door. The endodontist said to another patient prior to attending to me, "That black woman over there is whinning and complaining about being in pain..."
Then contrary to this when the endodontist came over he was very polite and even pleasant. Then when he began the work on my tooth there was a a pin or a needle poking me from the head rest. The pin or needle could not be felt by the touch of a hand and was thus dismisssed.
Then after the root canal was completed a fragment like a broken segment of needle appeared lodged in my gum on the xray for me to see. I left the endodontist knowing I had been violated. Where are the laws that protect a person in a situation such as this?

They are subtle...that's for sure.

I wanted to note that I paid $800 in cash for the root canal. This was not a charity job.

You have a very good malpractice suit at the very least. Go see an attourney as soon as possible.

He did nothing illegal here. Even assuming that you're right and he staged some sort of presentation, it's still just childish nonsense.

The only question you should be asking is if he committed medical malpractice or engaged in some kind of inappropriate business tactics. You needed a root canal. You got one. Did he screw it up? Or was the root canal done properly? There is no law against being rude or insensitive.

Just go to a different dentist.

BTW: you should go to a different dentist before going to see a lawyer. A new dentist will be able to tell you if the prior one malpracticed.

"Bullying" is considered a crime in most states. But, I do not see anything in the comment section to indicate a crime was committed. Nor do I see anything that would be a cause of action against anyone.

You can always seek medical treatment elsewhere.
