I've planted grass seed to fill in bare spots in the yard and there are rabbits all over the place, thanks to the neibors setting them free and not feeding them anymore, I feed them hay so they dont eat too much grass. but they do deposit little poopies in the yard. good or bad?

Rabbit poop is ideal fertilizer and won't burn your new grass. Bless you for feeding the little critters, but unless they've been fixed by their pathetic owners, you're going to end up with a huge colony. Contact your local house rabbit society (www.rabbit.org, look under Chapters) or animal rescue to have them fixed, if you don't mind keeping them, or turned over to rescue if you don't want them.

Actually the poo is a good fertilozer. Domestic rabbits will only become food for predators out in the wild. I recommend that you go to the humane society and see if you can rent some humane traps for a few dollars and then turn the bunnies over to the House Rabbit Society. http://www.rabbit.org

nSome of the best fertilizer in the world is rabbit poop soup !! Just mix the poop pellets with warm water and let it dissolve, them pour the brew over your plants !! You would have to pay big "bucks" for a comparable fertilizer !!!

Firstly, european or demostic rabbits cannot survive on their own. Call your local animal shelter and they will rent you out some traps. Trap the bunnies and bring them in. THey will find them new homes and your problem will be solved. I got my last rabbit from the shelter, she was stray, but she is a real sweetheart. I give her free run of my home.

Very good for your grass, although you may have to mow more than you intended. Shame on your neighbor for just letting them loose!!
