Superman
Wonder Woman
Flash
Green Lantern
Batman
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman

Superman:
Strenth: He is almost invunerable with a plethora of abilities and powers to rely upon. He is also super intelligent, has super senses and is super strong.

Weaknesses:
Magic
Kryptonite
Red Sun

Batman:

Strength:
Best fighter in the DC Universe, greatest detective in the DC Universe. Has trained some of the strongest superheroes in DC. Has gadgets, etc to assist when needed. He is the McGyver of the Justice League. Fear is his weapon, as is mystery.

Weakness:
No super powers. Still smarter than the rest of the Justice League(minus Superman).

Green Lantern
Strength:
Power Ring creates emerald hard light constructs. Also, they have incredibly strong wills and do not give up. They have an entire corps to back them up if necessary.

Weaknesses:
Fear
Ring needs to be recharged
A sometimes weakness to the color yellow

Flash:
The Speed Force is the most powerful force in the galaxy which allows him to travel through time/space/dimensions.

Superspeed even faster than superman. His brain is superfast, just like the rest of his body.

Weaknesses:
Flash' seem to have a high mortality rate
The Speed force is very volitile
Metabolism is really high, he has to eat a lot

Aquaman
Strength
Super strength is unmatched under water
Speaks to Sea Animals

Weakness:
How often are their battles underwater?
Sea Animals can't solve super-villian problems.

Martian Manhunter:
Shape changing ability, telepathy, invisibility, stamina, strength, flight, martian vision.

Weakness:

Fire

Wonder Woman:
Second strongest int he DCU, stamina, insight, also raised. Immune to illusions as well as psychic attack, resistant to magic attack

Weakness:
Stamina is raised, however she is not immortal. Her skin can be pierced by bullets.

I'd say Aquaman is by far the weakest - after Aquaman, I'd say it is a tossup between Batman and the Flash

Then above that would be Green Lantern and Martian Mahunter

Wonderwoman
then of course,
Superman.

I'm going to say Batman. He is an athletic specimen, but he's just a dude. He will get older and slower than the other members at a much faster rate.

Also, it is the Justice League not the vigilante league. Does Batman usually have a sense of justice.

He can't fly, lacks superhuman strength and abilities, and doesn't look good in a two piece.

Founding members of the Justice League in 1960:
Superman
Wonder Woman
Flash
Green Lantern
Batman
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman

Green Lantern and Superman are the most powerful. You can debate which one is stronger. I vote for GL.

MM is next.
Wonder Woman next (almost as powerful as Superman)

Batman next. Yes, he's human. But he's incredibly smart and clever and sneaky. As you recall, he (along with Green Arrow) beat Superman almost killing him in Dark Knight Returns. So, don't mess with Batman. Really.

Then Flash. Speed kills. Imagine him running at 10000 mph and then throwing a baseball at you. Really. You're dead.

Finally Aquaman. Unless you're at the bottom of the ocean (which almost never happens) he's got nothing. I'm surprised they're trying to make a movie. Who cares?!

It has to be Aquaman...

And for many of you...Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman were NOT founding members of the Justice League.....

Aquaman is by far the most weakest member of the Leauge. I consider him to be the weakest link of the team.

Toss up between Batman and Aquaman. Batman may have no powers, but he has lots of gadgets and is the best detective (can't fight the villains if you can't find them). Aquaman has powers, but if the villain isn't sea-based, he's kind of hosed (needing to be immeresed in water once an hour is kind of a hinderance).

Um, you are all missing who was truly a founding member, Superman and Batman arent. It was founded with Martina Manhunter, Flash, Aquamam, Green Lantern and Black Canary, who was nothing more then a martial artist.

So the answer is Black Canary, hands down.

I'd say Aquaman (not awcwaman...lol). He may be good under water, but on land what can he do? He can't call sharks to fight his battles on land or something...maybe a mudskipper or a flying fish *ooooo...I'm scared right now...lol*

It seems as though Batman is getting cracked on, which is a shame. He is one of my favs, even if he has not superpowers. He has one heck of a mind though, and he does extremely well with hand-to-hand combat. *nods*

Batman. He has no superpowers. Aquaman is a sad character, admittedly, but he isn't weak. He does have superhuman strength and can swim really fast.

Superman, sure he is made of steel and can fly and has super-strength and all, but he gets sick just getting near a green rock. It takes a lot more than that to bring down the rest of them.
