The good old boys are not the problem. We will not have a female president in this country because not enough women will vote for one.

Definetly NOT. Anyone associated with the Bush administration in any way whatsoever should NEVER be considered for the role of President in 2008. The Middle East would never have ever come into crisis had Bush and his party simply stayed out of it and not waged war on Iraq. Someone along the lines of a Hilary Clinton would be better suited for the position, not only does she understand the Country's current state, but she also can identify with the American people, something which we have not seen since her husband Bill Clinton left office.

Even though she is brilliant and could make an excellent President, I do not think she could win. She has too many strikes against her: being a woman, being a woman of color, having been in the public eye during a war which is becoming more and more unpopular, and being part of an administration which is also unpopular, even though they are on the right course. All of these will hurt her in a run for the Presidency.
Have to call them as I see them.

Whether she accomplishes the goal she has set for, regardless of that, I think she would be a great and deserving candidate for President in '08, what a great election would it be, with two females (hope Hillary is her rival) gunning for the top post...
She and Hillary are both successful women in their own rights and its high-time we had a woman president, esp. when we preach to the world on feminine rights and issues and also when other countries like India, Israel, NZ, Pakistan already have had woman premiers.

She has no agenda in the Lebanon war other than Israel's. She is against a cease-fire unless it ends the hostilities permanently. That is Wilsonian. The Israelis will not relinquish the Arab lands. They will fight until the last man. Condi's trip to Beirut, Jerusalem, and Rome is mostly public relations for Israel. The Bush White House is a sophisticated advertising/public relations firm with Israel and neo-cons in control.

She is not the worst of that group, but I doubt she's up to the job. As a Democrat, who occasionally votes for a non-Democrat candidate, I would say she should run, because she won't win. Does that sound like arguments being used against Hillary?
